One of the proudest moments in my career was last night, when the famed singer, the queen of grupera music, Ana Barbara wore my creations to host the 2013 Latin Billboard Awards in Miami.

Now , Ana Barbara was not the only celebrity wearing my creations, there was also Gaby Espino, Adriana Lavat, Karent Sierra, Sabrina Seara, and Litzy Dominguez, all of them wearing my beautiful diamonds and gems. Even though there are not pictures of all of them yet, and I am doing a separate post for them, here are some of the ladies on the red carpet.

Like I said before, these ladies will get their chance. For today I will focus on Ana Barbara, whore wore this amazing black lace gown for her grand red carpet event. To complement this look she wore a beautiful pearl and diamond flower statement ring and gorgeous onyx and yellow sapphire drop style earrings from my Wanderlust collection. Take a look.

For her duty as host Ana Barbara chose this sexy skin-tight liquid dress, and continued to wear the fleur ring, as well as a second floral ring on her other hand. with two hands decorated in flower the Mexican beauty looked amazing and ready to rock and roll.

Ana Barbara chose a very imposing gown for her third look of the evening, so we chose equally imposing earrings. this was my favorite because it was a very climactic moment in the show. It was in this gown that she serenaded legendary singer Jose Jose bringing tears to everyone in the audience. For this very important moment, we chose my watermelon tourmaline and black gold statement earrings, which made an even bigger statement on live television.

What a moment! I still cant believe that my jewelry was there next to Jose Jose, Emilio Estefan and being worn by Ana Barbara. Check out how pretty they are...

As I look at the picture I keep thinking how can you top that off? Well she did manage to in this wild and sexy gold look, that was smoking hot. For her curve hugging gold dress we chose perfect gold accessories. Check her out behind the scenes, getting ready for her grand finale.

What a stunning and statuesque beauty she is. And if you watched the show you saw that she is not only beautiful but also incredibly talented. In the look above she wore my diamond hoops and continued to wear the diamond and pearl flower rings. Here are the hoops up close so you can appreciate them.

What a magical night it was. What a proud moment for me and for Ecuador to be elevated in this international stage and to be a part of something so incredible. Tune in next week, when I write about the other beautiful ladies on the red carpet and all of their stunning diamonds and pearls and gems.

Every woman, whether she admits it or not, has been dreaming about her prince charming and eternal love since she was a little girl. It makes you wonder how long this tradition of engagement and wedding rings has been around. Since summer is just around the corner, I think it’s very apropos that I delve into that a little bit this week. Here are three of my most popular designs for engagement rings, let's check them out, shall we?

I designed the first ring with the beautiful diamond detail around the classic solitaire to give it a modern twist. Also called the illusion ring, the small diamonds chain around the solitaire also serve a purpose: to frame the solitaire and make it appear bigger. Something any girl would love. The third ring, the three diamond ring has three smaller diamonds flanking a gorgeous square cut diamond. These three signify the couples past, present, and future together.

Before every wedding, there is an engagement and before every engagement there is an engagement ring. This tradition has been around since the Romans, where the bethroted exchanged a steel ring as a symbol of their upcoming nuptials. The ring was used in the fourth finger on the left hand because supposedly there is a vain—the vena amoris—that runs from that finger straight to the heart.

Engagement rings come in a variety of styles, with the most popular being the solitaire. This gem, usually a diamond, can be in different cuts or shapes ranging from round to rectangular to emerald. A very popular cut these days is the princess cut, which is a square cut, but there is also room for others such as oval and heart shaped like the one below.

The style of the ring says very much about the women who wears it. A woman with contemporary style will more than likely prefer a classic solitaire. A more woman with classic yet avant guard tastes will prefer a three diamond ring, while a modern bride will prefer the eternity band.

The three engagement bands above are the perfect example of a more modern style. These are known as eternity bands, like I mentioned above, and very popular these days. The diamonds in the same size going around the band signify eternal love, which has no beginning or end.

As with all my designs, any of these styles can be custom designed with the bride to be her preferred cut. They can be made of white or yellow gold, and of course in platinum, which is more costly, but totally worth it.

As far as traditions go, engagement rings are one that is here to stay, since they have and always will be an important signifier of eternal love, and of course women do love them.

Julieta Venegas, Fannilu, Thalía, Daniela Kosan, Patricia Manterola, entre otras, son las estrellas que han lucido sus creaciones. Además, las mujeres más hermosas del Continente tienen el gusto de lucir sus coronas exquisitamente decoradas. Radicada en Miami desde hace 11 años, Daniella tiene el orgullo de ser, por segundo año consecutivo, parte de la cuarta edición de Jewelry Intenacional, que la ubica al nivel de legendarias casas de diseño como Cartier, Bvlgari y Chopard. Y que además la catapulta como la primera latinoamericana y la más joven de las diseñadoras en ser parte de sus páginas.

Su formación en Diseño de Joyas y Orfebrería en Florencia, Italia, y su especialización en gemas y perlas, le han dado la experticia suficiente para crear piezas únicas que se elevan como verdaderas obras de arte, labradas a mano de 6 a 8 semanas cada una, bajo exigentes controles de calidad que garantizan un acabado perfecto. Para Daniella cada joya es una muestra de la sabiduría orfebre; acostumbra a conjugar piedras clásicas y modernas: zafiros, diamantes, esmeraldas se unen con cuarzos, ojo de tigre, turquesa u ónix para crear un diseño actual. “Mis creaciones gustan porque son diferentes, tienen un toque fresco de juventud y una versatilidad incomparable. Se pueden usar a cualquier hora del día. Los diseños tienen la influencia de diferentes mundos: Norteamérica, Latinoamérica y Europa. Si hay algo que me inspira son mis viajes. En Florencia, por ejemplo, disfruto visitar los museos y admirar obras de arte de 500 años atrás. La naturaleza, sus colores, las flores y la vegetación son otra fuente inagotable de creatividad para mí”, dice.


En Jewelry International, el trabajo de Kronfle es catalogado como “el más potente arte que nos saca de la esfera de lo cotidiano, que nos muestra mundos diferentes… Algo nuevo e inesperado”. Con estas premisas, ella cumple su cometido: darle a la mujer un accesorio con el que se sienta ella misma, libre, curiosa y reflexiva; que hable de su personalidad y marque su estilo. Hacer y vivir a través de las joyas es lo que más le apasiona a esta mujer de 37 años, quien cree fielmente “que no se puede ser exitoso y feliz, sin hacer lo que a uno le gusta verdaderamente”, por eso no es de extrañar que su carrera haya iniciado a los 10 años, de la mano de su madre Marjorie Adum, otra amante de la joyería. Quizás esa frase sea el secreto de su éxito.

	Nuevas ideas Para la colección 2013, Daniella jugará con las tendencias. Anillos imponentes que te hagan sentir complementada. Collares largos de perlas, tipo Chanel en la década de los 60’s. También se impone la abundancia de los 80’s, usando varias piezas de joyería a la vez, y argollas de diferentes colores en zafiros, turquesas, ónix, piedras azules y amarillas. La sinergia entre pulseras, collares y aretes se rompe y se prefiere el juego de texturas con oros diferentes y perlas de diversa tonalidad.
Boda a la vista Pero este 2013 no sólo le ha traído a Daniella la emoción de ser considerada una de las mejores diseñadoras de joyas del mundo, sino también la alegría de celebrar su matrimonio el próximo junio. En primicia para Cosas, ella nos comentó que el afortunado novio, cuyo nombre prefiere mantener en reserva, es de Guayaquil y llevan un año de noviazgo, aunque se conocen desde hace mucho.
