As if Miami needed another reason to shine, the stars were out last week during the new Telemundo award shows Premios Tu Mundo. Hosted by Gaby Espino and Rafael Amaya, Premios Tu Mundo was broadcast live for the first time from our beloved Magic City. I was not able to get ready in time to attend the awards, but it was for a good cause: I had a few lovely ladies wearing my creations on the blue carpet, and today I want to share two of those with you.
Here is the beautiful and talented Sonya Smith.
Styled by Lazaro Cruz, and wearing a fabulous gown by start favorite Rosita Hurtado, Sonya looked divine. For this evening's look we chose a beautiful pair of earrings in diamond and citrine, as well as a fabulous citrine and diamond ring. Both pieces are handmade in yellow gold. Here is a shot of the ring...
Next is Vanessa Villela, the fabulous Mexican actress and singer. Villela, masterfully styled by Angie Escamilla, went for a brunette bomshell look in this shiny pale rose strapless concoction. Her jewels are handmade in rose quartz, amethyst, aquamarine and diamonds.
Here is a close up of her necklace and earrings...

and purple amethyst. Handmade in 18kt black gold.
This monochromatic pale rose ensemble was perfect for Vanessa, and a smart interpretation for this Fall's most coveted look. A great transitional style. Her creamy complexion and dark hair are perfect for this hue. Not everyone can carry on this look without looking washed out.
Aren't these ladies looking fabulous? How great was the monochromatic look on the blue carpet? I love working with stylists like Lazaro Cruz and Angie Escamilla. Their genius is always appreciated and their professionalism is always welcome. Thanks for all the hard work, guys. Until next time. Awards season is just around the corner.
