Last week Miami was all abuzz (and full of stars) thanks to Premio Lo Nuestro, one of the biggest and most important music award ceremonies for Spanish-speakers, here in the US and all over Latin America. Even though people are anxiously awaiting the fantastic and over the top musical numbers, what really gets tongues wagging is the glamorous red carpet. This year I was fortunate enough to have styled jewelry for four lovely ladies, of which three made People Magazine's best dressed list. Here is one of them...
Who:
The fabulous Venezuelan beauty Scarlet Ortiz,
in a gorgeous and very regal tiered purple
evening gown from Rafael Cennamo.
Simply stunning!
What:
From my "Wanderlust" collection,
these elegant turquoise and rock crystal earrings
were a perfect complement to her purple confection.
The statement ring, very modern in turquoise,
gold and diamonds, was the perfect
balance for this traditional ball gown,
as well as a great example of how to wear
the new color-blocking trend on the red carpet.
I think my turquoise jewels were the right
finishing touch for Scarlet, don't you?
