One of the proudest moments in my career has been creating a jewelry look with Real Housewives of Miami's Karent Sierra for her to wear at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. I have known Karent for a few years now, and we have had many laughs together. She really loves my work, so when she needs something amazing for a red carpet, or in this case the Presidential Inauguration, I deliver.

I love working with Karen, she is always so positive and willing to try new and exciting things. She really is so fashion forward. Of course I can't say enough about Emilio Uribe and his fantastic styling team. They are so professional and partnering with him, on this and other endeavors, has been a dream. Look at Karent minutes before the ball; she really is gorgeous and her lovely embroidered turquoise dress was simply stunning. It was perfect for her fabulous hair and skin color, and this girl really has the best figure! I don't know how she does it, since Karent is not only a reality TV star, she is also an accomplished dentist and renown philanthropist. Karent you are amazing!
For the night of the ball, Karent wore my classic shimmering oval solitaire diamond hoops, similar to the ones below. These hoops are to die for, and offer an elegant complement to any fashion look, wether day or night. As a matter of fact, they are perfect for traveling (like Karent did to DC) because they are really one of the most versatile pieces in my collection. You can wear them with a gorgeous gown to a ball or with a nice crisp white shirt and jeans to Sunday brunch. Or even with a cocktail dress like Karent wore in the first picture above.

Karent also wore a beautiful statement ring in 18kt white gold, blue sapphire cabochon and sparkly diamonds. I love the look of cabochon cut gems and have been using in my collection a lot recently. They bring a very modern vintage look, and an antiquated elegance that is very chic and now.

Her cuff style bracelet is also in cabochon cut stones, and is one of my all time favorites. This gorgeous piece is handmade in 18kt white gold, with cabochon cut emeralds and sapphires, canary diamonds and white diamonds. The results are an extraordinary bracelet that was right at home at the presidential inauguration.

For the presidential brunch the following day, and her second presidential look, we chose this fabulous cocktail ring in black and white gold and multicolored sapphires. The inspiration for this ring was the beautiful autumn leaves is Paris. Can you tell?

To complement this ring, we selected the beautiful and trendy Miami hoops, similar to the ones shown below, in rubies and white gold. Although Karent's were in rubies, these hoops are so popular I have made them available in pink sapphires, yellow sapphires and green tsavorite as well. Karent, like me, loves hoops and wears them all the time. Hoops are a classic style and bring pizzaz to every outfit.
